M17 - The "Swan" (or "Omega") Nebula in Sagittarius

| Note: | I used an Astrodon 6nm
filter for the Ha shots. The individual exposures were converted using
Canon software. They were calibrated, aligned, and combined with ImagesPlus.
The Ha and color images were aligned with RegiStar the final image
was adjusted (Curves) in Photoshop CS2. Taken from my backyard observatory in southeastern Minnesota. |
