M23 - Open Cluster in Sagittarius
| M23 was discovered by Charles Messier in 1764. It is 2,150 light years away and is considered to be a relatively old cluster. It it estimated to be 220-300 million years old. | |

| Processing: | Images were focused using Live View. They were converted to tiff files in Canon Digital Photo Professional before being aligned and combined in ImagesPlus. The composite was adjusted in Photoshop. Noise was reduced using Topaz DeNoise. |
