discovered by Charles Messier in 1764. It is 5,000 light years away
and spans approximately 22 light years. It is a fairly sparse cluster,
containing approximately 100 stars. None are brighter than a magnitude
of 11.9 |

were focused using Live View. They were converted to tiff files in
Canon Digital Photo Professional before being aligned and combined
in ImagesPlus. The composite was slightly cropped and adjusted in
Photoshop. Noise was reduced using Topaz DeNoise. |
