NGC 7063 - Open Cluster in Cygnus

 

 

NGC 7063 is an open star cluster that lies approximately 2,250 light years in the constellation of Cygnus, the swan. It is a scattered cluster that spans 10x10 arcminutes in the sky.

 

Telescope: Takahashi TOA-130NFB refractor
Camera: Modified Canon 650D (T4i); ISO 1600
Mount:  iOptron CEM60
Guiding: QHY 5L-II on 60mm guide scope
Exposures: 20 @ 5min.
Notes:  Images were focused using the camera's live view and a Bahtinov mask. Exposures were captured, aligned and combined in ImagesPlus. The final composite image was adjusted in Photoshop.
