Comet C/2020
F3 was discovered on March 27, 2020 by the Near Earth Object Wide-field
Infrared Survey Explorer (hence its name - NEOWISE). It measures approximately
3 miles in diameter and reached its closest position to the sun on
July 3, 2020. It is the brightest comet visible since Hale-Bopp in
1997. |
